As part of the ongoing efforts within Work Package 2 (Acquisition), a field visit was conducted to advance the project’s planned investigations. This visit served as an extension of the initial trip undertaken in February 2024. During the previous visit, the procurement of the OVS camera, intended for installation, could not be completed, and not all team members could participate.
The primary objectives of this latest visit were to install the OVS camera at a designated site, conduct reconnaissance of the terrain for planned geophysical investigations, and identify suitable locations for installing corner reflectors. These elements are crucial for achieving high-precision remote sensing monitoring (PsInSAR).
The field visit commenced on April 23rd, with the team traveling to Prolom Banja. On April 24th, the team installed the OVS camera at a predetermined location within the Davolja Varos site, specifically at the left flank of the “Đavolja Jaruga.” A comprehensive site survey was also conducted to determine optimal positions for geophysical profiling and corner reflector installation.
The successful completion of this field visit marks a significant milestone in the project’s advancement, ensuring that the necessary data acquisition tools are in place for further geophysical investigations and remote sensing analysis.
