As part of our dissemination and promotion activities, we participated in the Fifth Congress of Geologists of the Republic of Macedonia, held in Ohrid in 2024. This important scientific event brought together researchers, professionals, and experts in geology to discuss current challenges, innovations, and advancements in geological sciences.
At the conference, we presented our research on the application of geoelectrical methods in landscape exploration with the paper:
“Beneath the Surface: Geoelectrical Exploration of Đavolja Varoš’s Protected Landscape”
Authors: Dragana Đurić, Branislav Sretković, Dimitry Sidorov – Biryukov
This study uses geoelectrical techniques to investigate the subsurface characteristics of Đavolja Varoš, a unique and geologically significant protected landscape. By applying advanced geophysical methods, we aim to contribute to a better understanding of its formation processes and long-term conservation strategies.
Stay tuned for more updates on our research and field activities!
