PRISMA grants awarded

The Science Fund of Republic of Serbia has announced the final lists of projects approved for funding under the PRIZMA program. Over the next three years, the Science Fund will finance 97 projects (out of 660 proposals) involving 898 Serbian scientists from 91 research organizations. The program budget is 25 million euros, with funding secured from the budget of the Republic of Serbia and through the Project for Accelerating Innovation and Stimulating Entrepreneurship Growth in the Republic of Serbia (SAIGE), a partnership project of the Republic of Serbia, the European Union, and the World Bank.


Through the support of the Science Fund, researchers will work within the PRIZMA program on the development of artificial intelligence, creating innovations and practical solutions in the fields of biotechnology, biomedicine, technical and technological sciences, implementing new ideas, and generating solutions from natural sciences and mathematics, as well as expanding knowledge in the fields of social and humanistic sciences.

In the field of technical and technological sciences, project DEMONITOR (Devils’ Town Erosion MONITORing), will be conducted under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Miloš Marjanović from University of Belgrade – Faculty of Mining and Geology (Serbia).

Project will be realized in coordination with Faculty of Civil Engineering University of Belgrade (Serbia) and external experts from University of Banja Luka (Bosnia & Herzegovina) and University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje (North Macedonia).
